Intermittent Fasting is currently one of the most popular health trends in the world. Many people believe Intermittent Fasting is a new phenomenon, yet humans have been fasting then feasting for thousands of years.
The benefits of Intermittent Fasting are many. Some of the benefits are weight-loss, reduced inflammation, improved insulin sensitivity, and disease protection.
During this presentation participants will learn: What is Intermittent Fasting; The benefits of Intermittent Fasting; The science behind Intermittent Fasting; How to implement Intermittent Fasting; Which method of Intermittent Fasting to use; The best foods for Intermittent Fasting to be effective; Which labs to monitor, and When Intermittent Fasting is not advised.
Participants will leave this presentation with the knowledge to use Intermittent Fasting as another tool to assist clients in their health goals.
Georgette Schwartz has been a nutrition and fitness educator and specialist focusing on complete mental and physical well-being for over 20 years. Georgette serves as the Director of Nutrition Services at Integrative Acupuncture. Georgette previously served as The Director of Nutrition Services at Advanced Medical Therapeutics. Working side-by-side with Mark Rosenberg, M.D.; an integrative practitioner.
Georgette holds her Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition from Hawthorn University in northern California, and is Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition. Georgette is a Certified GAPS Practitioner, a certified Metabolic Balance Coach, a Certified Wahls Practitioner, and a Certified Gluten Practitioner.
