Why Food Alone is Not Enough: How to Connect Nutrition to Nourishment
We all know food is medicine; however, Dr. Deanna Minich has discovered that food alone is only one part of the healing journey. Through her own personal experience and in working with thousands of patients, she has put together a therapeutic approach that encompasses the ‘full-spectrum’ of the individual. In this presentation, you will learn a new way to work with clients that includes the personalization of eating together with the added synergy of lifestyle changes. Recent research on mind-body medicine and its clinical application, along with the role of creativity, the meaning of ‘symbolic disease’ and the practical reality of nutrigenomics will be discussed. Case studies from those who have experienced Dr. Minich’s integrated nutrition-nourishment therapeutic program will be detailed and participants will have access to her 7-part protocol for full-spectrum healing.
