Food Sensitivities the Growing Trend: Who Needs Testing, How to Test and Why?
Carla’s presentation will help nutrition professionals understand what food sensitivities are, why they are important and how to incorporate testing into their practice. Food sensitivities are different from food allergies but are as important in many ways. Food sensitivities can contribute to many inflammatory conditions such as IBS, migraines, infertility, autoimmune conditions, joint pain, anxiety, and more. Carla will explain how to identify which clients will benefit from food sensitivity testing and the different type of tests available. Carla will also touch on implementing elimination diets for clients based on food sensitivity results.
